Second Saturday Walks
Getting outdoors and seeing the world around you is a fantastic excuse to use your Saturday. Once a month on the second Saturday Penny and Phil schedule a walk/hike and lunch to somewhere interesting. You may find yourself walking about the streets of the Portland/Vancouver metro area or climbing to a vista overlooking the Columbia River Gorge. Read articles about the walks here. Once a year the walk also incorporates a photo scavenger hunt where you experience small points of interest on your way while striving to compete against other teams. We enjoy these chances to get out and do something thanks to the organizational skills of Penny and Phil. It is all about experiencing and enjoying the world around you with friends.
See slideshows of the walks and hikes here!
Click here if you are interested in being on a email list about upcoming walks/hikes.
