PortlandSideways.com's own "countryboy" is to be honored by the Kansas Music Hall of Fame as a member of the 1960's era band The Morning Dew. The Morning Dew is to be one of then acts inducted for the Year 2010 into the Hall of Fame in a ceremony March 6, 2010 at Liberty Hall-Lawrence, Kansas.
Recording artists The Morning Dew, toured the mid-western states during the mid to late 1960's. They recorded for Roulette and Fairyland labels.

See the Morning Dew's Kansas Music Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony 2010 and one of their performance songs Young Man performed at Liberty Hall, Lawerence, Kansas March 6, 2010. The band had not played togther for nearly 40 years. Performing for the Dew were Mal Robinson, Don "Tommy" Sligar, Don "Andy" Anderson, Blair Honeyman and David Howell.
On the national stage they performed as the opening act for The Drifters, The Turtles, and Gary Puckett and the Union Gap.
Their recordings have included:
- 1968 45 RPM Single No More which rose regional to the top ten-Fairyland Records, Recorded in Columbia, MO
- 1969 45 RPM Single Be A Friend-Fairyland Records, Recorded in Columbia, MO
- 1970 LP-At Last-Roulette Records, Recorded in NYC, NY This LP also featured the song Save Me composed by Malcomb Robinson (Morning Dew) and Kerry Livegren (Kansas) as songwriters. Save Me was Livegren's first published song.
